1. Konkan Railway: This train was built to eliminate the distance between Mumbai and Mangalore. The track was placed by E Sridharan-Metro Man. This was the most difficult railway route in India. Konkan Railway connects 3 states - Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. It passes through the beautiful areas filled with hills, mountains, rivers, farms tunnels, bridges etc. There are many bridges and tunnels in this track, which is more than the than other places of country If you are a railway fan and also a nature lover, then you should take this journey and it will take about 20 hours for the entire journey from Mumbai to Mangalore which covers a distance of 741 km.

2. Nilgiri (Mettupalayam - Ooty) 

Being 1000 mm,Nilgiri Express is a popular and and only toy train which runs on the natural routes of these Indian Railways. There is a distance of 46 kilometers from Mettupalayam to Udhagamandalam (Ooty). On this train, 16 tunnels, 208 curves and 250 crosses the bridge Earlier It took 408 hours to get to the destination from the beginning to the destination. From 1908, 'Nilgiri Passenger' still runs on the steam engine from Mettupalayam to Ooty. As the train climbs on the forests, tilt, curves and tunnels of Nilgiri-Mountain thick pine, oak and eucalyptus, it runs with the highest shield of 8.33 percent with Asia's fastest track. It travels through the stations Coonoor , Adleri, Wellington, Kateri, Rannimedi, Ketti, Coonoor and Lovedale, for about 5 hours. Which is about 26 kilometers.

3. Tamilnadu - Rameswaram

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling) Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is one of India's oldest railways, which was built around 1880. This railway runs a distance of 88 Kms from New Jalpaiguri and ends in Darjeeling with 12 stations in the entire tour. 6. Kalka-Shimla

7. Nilambur - Shoranur:

 Nilambur- Shoranur Railway line, under the control of the Palakkad division of Southern Railway, is one of the lowest broad gauge railway lines in Kerala which is about 66 kms. Many passenger trains and an express train currently operate on this scenic and beautiful environment. Kashmir Railway (Jammu-Udhampur) Kashmir Railway is one of India's most beautiful railway lines , which passes through 100 bridges on 20 tunnels and short Himalayas which also hosts the highest Indian railway bridge (under construction). The Kashmir Railway line is the most challenging railway project in the Indian rail system, which crosses the major earthquake zone, high altitude mountain pass and terrain in extreme cold temperatures. 9. Registhan Rani Desert Queen (Jodhpur-Jaisalmer): Jodhpur is about 285 kilometers in Jaisalmer. Koraput – Rayagada: The Koraput-Raigada line or popular KR line is a branch of Kothavalasa–Kirandul line (East Coast Railway Zone) Koraput of Raigad railway line passes through dark and dense forests,meadows, water fall and valleys in the terrace. Rayagada area is known for its beautiful beauty and legacy on the land of tribal Odisha, which is a paradise. While Raigada is 200 meters above sea level, Koraput is at an altitude of about 800 meters. When the train goes from Koraput to Raigada, the downhill scene looks beautiful. Charm is added to horse-shaped curves and thick forests.
